四丁基锡（Tetrabutyltin），是一种有机锡化合物，化学式C16H36Sn，CAS登录号1461-25-2。该物质为无色至微黄色油状液体，密度1.057 g/cm³（25℃），熔点-97℃，沸点127-145℃（10 mmHg）或275.3℃（760 mmHg），闪点约107℃（225℉），折射率1.473（20℃），不溶于水，可溶于多数有机溶剂。
其化学性质主要表现为Sn-C键易被卤素、氢卤酸及矿物酸断裂，加热至265℃分解产生刺激性烟雾。主要用于制造二丁基yang化锡等有机热稳定剂中间体，并作为防锈剂、稳定剂、多聚催化剂及汽油防爆剂。制备方法以1-氯丁烷与无水四氯化锡等为原料合成。

浩瀚色谱（山东）应用技术开发有限公司，，研制《新戊二醇丁二酸聚酯玻璃色谱柱应用安捷伦》以固定相相似10%Diethyleneglycol succinate/ChromosorbWAW为分离柱,TCD为检测器,建立了气相色谱法,直接测定了四丁基锡溶液中正丁醇含量,并对四丁基锡样品进行了正丁醇的加标回收试验,获得满意结果.结果表明,该方法操作简单,准确可靠,适用于四丁基锡溶液中正丁醇的快速测定要求.

  Tetrabutyltin is an organic tin compound with the chemical formula C16H36Sn and CAS accession number 1461-25-2. This substance is a colorless to slightly yellow oily liquid with a density of 1.057 g/cm ³ (25 ℃), a melting point of -97 ℃, a boiling point of 127-145 ℃ (10 mmHg) or 275.3 ℃ (760 mmHg), a flash point of about 107 ℃ (225 ℉), a refractive index of 1.473 (20 ℃), insoluble in water, soluble in most organic solvents.
Its chemical properties are mainly manifested as Sn-C bonds being easily broken by halogens, hydrogen halide acids, and mineral acids, and decomposing to produce irritating smoke when heated to 265 ℃. Mainly used in the manufacture of organic heat stabilizer intermediates such as dibutyltin oxide, and as rust inhibitors, stabilizers, polymeric catalysts, and gasoline explosion-proof agents. The preparation method involves synthesizing 1-chlorobutane and anhydrous tin tetrachloride as raw materials.
